Said it worked with Rock Band for Wii and it didn't. It says in tiny print on the box and instructions that it work with Guitar Hero on Wii but not Rock Band.
I actually purchased this item for my son who is an avid Guitar Hero player. He loves the guitar.
Very cool. Very fun. Can have a great time rocking out like a rock star.
That said, I love it. Seems this was advertised as being compatible with RB1, which it isn't, and I feel for the folks who bought it under those pretenses. However, it does work with RB2 for the Wii. The strum bar is much more accurate than the Strat that comes with RB2. The only complaint is that it doesn't have the solo buttons at the bottom of the neck, but that's not a huge deal.
it wasn't as cool as it looks. the strap keeps falling off and the wammy bar is hard to use.
